The train consists of at least one locomotive and passenger carriages. A railcar is a self-propelled rail vehicle, so there is no locomotive. Passengers travel in the same vehicle as the driver.<br\/>When the advertised traction mode is a diesel locomotive, it is the same composition as the steam train.
